Heather Sloan

Heather has been spinning for over 35 years and knitting for over 50. She is fascinated by how curly fleece transforms from the sheep’s back into a sweater on hers. she is the owner of Handknit Handwoven, where she sells beautifully crafted pieces. She also teaches advanced knitting and spinning private lessons. She also makes silver jewelry, speaks fluent French, and is a marine geophysicist!

Tricia Zeitler

Tricia Zeitler studied fine arts and interior design, which laid the foundation for her artistic journey. Since 2021, she has been focusing on fine art oil painting. Her work captures the landscapes, animals, flowers, and everyday moments around the farm, bringing the essence of nature to canvas.

Nicole is a Pyrenean-born artist passionate about learning through immersion and response-ability. Ashlie was AOOA's inaugural artist-in-residence during the 2023 season. She works in watercolor, pastel, and acrylic and finds inspiration through her deep love of nature. Flora, fauna, and pollinators all greatly inspire her work.
