About the event
Join us for our Midseason Artist Showcase!
Meet the 2025 Artists-in-Residence Amy Lewis Sweetman, Heather Sloan, and Tricia Zeitler, and learn about the creative processes behind their work. See what the artists have been working on during their time at the farm, hear about the ideas and experiences that inspire them, and get to know the individuals behind the art. Artworks are available for purchase if something catches your eye!
Amy loves combining architecture, agriculture and welding to invent beautiful sculptures that offer functional solutions. Need supports to grow vegetables and flowers? Use Amy’s Garden Tripods! Need peace and tranquility? Install Amy’s Fountains in your outdoor space! Need something else? She makes custom work too!
Heather is a fiber artist working on a wide variety of looms and other equipment. She is particularly interested in the preservation of ancient weaving and spinning skills, using them to produce modern household and wearable fabrics and objects. Come check out her goods!
Tricia is a painter whose work celebrates the harmony of rural life through the changing seasons, the expansive vistas of the landscape, and the ever changing flora & fauna. Her work conveys the deep connection between humanity and nature and invites viewers to pause and witness the beauty that often goes unnoticed, evoking wonder & reverence for the simple yet profound moments of everyday life. You’ll want to see her latest paintings in person!
Admission is free, but please sign up in advance! Open to all ages.
Light refreshments will be served, food will be available, and the cash bar will be open!
