Bilingual Story Time: Paint Me a Story

Join Stephanie Benson for a bilingual workshop where stories leap off the page and onto the canvas! You’ll read a book in both English and Spanish before diving into an art activity using fun tools and everyday objects. Little artists will create their own storytelling inspired masterpieces while exploring colors, textures, and new Spanish words along the way!

About the instructor: Stephanie Benson is the founder of Cuentos y Playdates, a bilingual play-based program that fosters early literacy through storytelling, hands-on arts and crafts, and creative play. With a background in nonprofit literacy initiatives, over a decade of experience as a childcare and youth program specialist, and nine years as a first responder in NYC, she discovered a passion for leading bilingual, creative workshops that engage young children and their families. Her approach blends a love of art with the power of play, encouraging children to explore, create, and grow - in inglés y español!
