Join Chef Jean-Louis Dumonet, Executive Chef and President of the USA Maitres Cuisiners, to learn how to use the versatile and delicious egg to create amazing dishes. Jean-Louis will take you on a culinary journey, teaching you the secrets to making perfect soufflés, savory quiches, and the ultimate poached egg. You'll also prepare homemade mayonnaise!
During this hands-on class, you'll work alongside Jean-Louis to prepare these classic dishes, using the freshest and highest-quality ingredients from the farm. You'll learn tips and techniques for achieving the perfect texture and flavor in your egg dishes.
This class is perfect for egg lovers and anyone looking to expand their culinary skills. You will taste each item prepared during class, and leave with a new appreciation for the humble egg, the confidence to create these delicious dishes at home, and your own jar of mayo to enjoy at home!
This class is suitable for all skill levels, and all equipment and ingredients will be provided.

About the instructor: Jean-Louis Dumonet is the Executive Chef and President of the USA Maitres Cuisiners. Raised in a family of restaurateurs, he began cooking at 14 and gained experience at prestigious establishments worldwide. He is a member of the James Beard Foundation and was awarded the title of Maître Cuisinier de France in 1994, becoming the youngest of only 48 in the U.S. He served as Secretary and later President of the American Chapter of the Association des Maîtres Cuisiniers de France. Chef Dumonet received the National Order of Agricultural Merit in 2010, joined the board of directors for Best of France at Times Square in 2015, and was awarded the Medal of Vermeil by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo in 2019. In July 2024, he was promoted to Officer in the National Order of Agricultural Merit by the French Minister of Agriculture.
