About the event
This fall, meet ancient allies that have supported us for thousands of years. Adaptogens have been used across the world to support our brains, immune systems, nervous and digestive systems. They are a class of herbs and mushrooms all on their own that promote longevity and improve our energy. In this class, we will explore traditional adaptogens such as ashwagandha and schisandra as well as their local counterparts such as nettle, oatstraw, and red clover. We will learn how to prepare these herbs in nourishing ways and work with them as long-term allies.
Each participant will make a remedy to take home. We will also taste various preparations of these herbs.
Event is rain or shine. Light refreshments will be served.
