Join Chef Shane McBride, for a hands-on grilling workshop where you’ll learn time-tested techniques from a true master. Chef Shane will walk you through the essentials of great grilling—from managing heat and building the perfect char to layering smokey flavors with farm-fresh ingredients.
Whether you’re a seasoned backyard griller or new to cooking over open flame, you’ll leave with practical skills and confidence as you work with fresh vegetables straight from the farm and some delicious D’Artagnan animal protein! Learn how to properly season, sear, and serve your food, along with insider tips that will elevate every future cookout.

Light refreshments will be provided. Cocktails and spirits available for purchase. Space is limited, so please register in advance. Shane will bring his Pig Beach BBQ Cookbook and happily dedicate copies for those who’d like to take one home. He might also bring some staple BBQ sauces!

About the instructor: Shane McBride is a founding partner and Director of Operations at Pig Beach BBQ, with locations in Queens, NY, West Palm Beach, FL, and Boston, MA. A Culinary Institute of America graduate, he built his early career in top New York City kitchens including Aureole, Lespinasse, Craftsteak, and Balthazar.
An award-winning pitmaster, McBride is co-founder of the Ribdiculous Bar-B-Krewe, Grand Champion of the 2023 Memphis in May World Championship. He is also co-author of The Pig Beach BBQ Cookbook, recognized by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and USA Today, and continues to cook, teach, and share his passion for wood-fired barbecue around the world.
