About the event
Improve your garden and support our local ecology: attract Monarch butterflies, milkweed species native to New York, and other insects that call milkweed home. Take a stroll on the property to identify milkweed and the creatures attracted to them. Learn how to manage common milkweed so it continues to attract female Monarchs throughout the egg laying season, and how to propagate milkweed from seeds or transplants. Every participant will take home a free milkweed or nectar plant!
Light refreshments will be served.
Space is limited, please register in advance!
