About the event

AOOA Farm and Growing Adventures invite you to our upcoming "Nature Tales and Sensory Trails" event on Oct 12. Join us for a delightful fall morning on the farm filled with pumpkin-themed fun and adventure! Children ages 2-5 are invited to dive into the magic of the season through engaging storytime, festive music, movement, and creative, open-ended play.

Our fall sensory experience includes pumpkin-inspired sensory tables, hands-on crafts, and playful activities designed to enrich fine and gross motor skills, sensory exploration, imagination, and teamwork. Little ones will explore the wonders of autumn, from crafting with pumpkins and gourds to creating their own fall-themed art, all in a relaxed, nature-based setting. Parents will love watching their children engage, explore, and grow in this unique, seasonal workshop.

Light refreshments will be served.

Space is limited, please register in advance!

Ages 2-5. Caretakers must stay onsite for the duration of the program.

About the instructor: Growing Adventures, founded by Meghan Sabbagh and Dani Toohey, is the vision of a mother of two young children and dedicated school-based pediatric occupational therapist (OT), who saw a vital piece of childhood fading away: the joy and developmental benefits of outdoor, nature-based, child-led play. Recognizing the importance of letting children get messy, explore, create, and dig into their natural surroundings, she teamed up with her sister, a fellow outdoor enthusiast OT with a rich background in neurorehabilitation, physical disability and environmental modification. Their mission is to provide both formal outdoor OT services and community events that invite children of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to learn, explore, create, and grow through play.
