About the event

Perfect for beginner beekeepers or those interested in possibly starting hives at home, Alix Daguin, our AOOA Projects Director, will teach the basics about bees and conduct a hive inspection. Say hi to the bees, learn about where they live and what the interior of a hive should look like. Please come dressed to impress the bees: wear loose clothing with long pants and long-sleeved shirts, tall socks, and work gloves. One ticket is good for up to 3 kids and 3 adults. We have 3 young child-sized suits and 3 adult suits available for those who want to get close to the hives.
