About the event

Join Charleen Predmore, Reiki Master, and Julia Ferguson, yoga instructor, for a transformative practice where reiki healing meets yin yoga. Poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes in yin yoga to target deeper connective tissue and fascia in the body. This type of practice can release not only physical tension, but stored emotional tension as well. Yin yoga is great for improving circulation and flexibility, and is friendly to all levels due to the slow nature of the practice.

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that promotes relaxation by balancing the body’s energy flow. When energy is blocked or imbalanced, it can cause physical and emotional distress. While holding the yin yoga poses, Charleen will provide hands-on or distance reiki energy healing.

We will gather pondside surrounded by birds chirping, trees swaying, and a soft breeze across the water. The pond sits toward the back of the property, and getting there includes a short walk down a rustic farm path and across part of a field, so please wear boots or sturdy farm-friendly shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dusty or muddy.

Bring your yoga mat, sunscreen if needed, and environmentally safe bug spray. Dress for the weather, layers are always a good idea for an early evening outdoor activity. Just a heads up, restrooms aren’t close to the pond, so be sure to plan ahead before we start.

Looking forward to sharing this special spot amidst the lush biodiverse farm landscape. You’ll head home feeling grounded, refreshed, and grateful you spent the evening with us!
