About the event
This one-hour experience for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers blends the magic of storytelling with the joy of music, all set against the living backdrop of our biodiverse farm.
Each class features playful, farm-inspired themes — from sprouting plants and friendly animals to buzzing insects and the changing seasons — inviting children to explore the rhythms and wonders of nature through song, movement, and story.
During class, children join in call-and-response and sing-along songs designed just for little voices. They’ll play simple hand percussion instruments, explore rhythm through clapping, tapping, and hand gestures, and build listening skills through interactive musical games. With plenty of opportunities for large movement, children will hop like bunnies, stomp like horses, sway like tall grass, and stretch like growing sunflowers—strengthening gross motor skills while having tons of fun. This engaging, hands-on class nurtures confidence, coordination, creativity, and a love for music in a warm and welcoming farm setting.
Caregivers are required to stay and actively supervise and participate with their children. While our facilitator guides activities, this is a time for family connection, shared discovery, and nature play together!
