About the Role
As a team member, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our farm stand. This includes assisting in food prep, taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting farm events and workshops.
This role is ideal for someone who has an interest in food, farming, and customer service. You should be able to work efficiently under pressure, have a strong sense of teamwork, and be ready to contribute to the vibrant, community-focused atmosphere at our farmstand. Shifts available Thursdays - Sunday. Must be able to work weekends.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a seasonal position from mid-March to November.
Compansation is $16-20 per hour.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
● Provide exceptional customer service to farm stand patrons.
● Take food and drink orders, serving with attention to detail.
● Process payments accurately (cash and credit card transactions).
● Assist in food preparation.
● Stock shelves, coolers, and freezers as needed.
● Help with inventory management.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization in the farm stand and dining areas.
● Assist in the execution of farm events, including happy hours, educational workshops, and harvest-themed events.
● Complete basic opening and closing tasks.
● Buss and clean dishes as needed.
● Support guests attending workshops and tours.
Required Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Previous experience in food service.
● Ability to work well in a team environment.
● Strong communication skills.
● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
● Strong sense of time management, urgency, and pace.
● A positive, solution-oriented attitude.
● Reliable transportation to and from the farm
