In case you haven't noticed, we love indigo at AOOA, and! we are so excited to share this love!
Our dear friends Chinatsu Nagamune and Andrew Vlock of Codo Experiment, will cover the basics of the Japanese stencil and rice resist technique called Katazome. Come learn how to create your own textile stencil and some of the many options for applying your designs to clothing and fabric. Attendees will also get to try their hand at creating their own customized indigo bandanas and be able to dye an article of clothing from home!

Class starts at 10 AM and goes till 12 Noon, followed by a 1 hour lunch break (farm stand will be open for lunch/snacks), class resumes 1PM-3PM.
